Dental Trauma

Most dental trauma is best treated by the patient's general dental practitioner but the prompt replantation of avulsed teeth by a practitioner may save the teeth.

Such teeth should be replanted within an hour after cleaning with normal saline. Milk or normal saline makes an ideal transport medium if the tooth can not be replanted immediately.
